Super G is a race with only down gates to be negotiated. Similar to downhill skiing there will be 6-8 down gates placed that need to be negotiated as fast as possible. Any kayak can be used, but the same kayak must be used for both runs. Best run counts, but results are handicapped so anyone can win.
