This 2.5 day course will include the rescue skills needed to pass the assessment as well as whitewater skill review, river reading and race technique
This course is designed to go through all of the skills needed for the coast to coast race in New Zealand.
Friday afternoon will be an intensive rescue skills ession. The first paddling sessions will be both review of river skills and paddling skills. We will include river reading and race technique. The second sesion will focus more on river reading and racing .
The second day includes a river race - approx 14km with race briefing and de-brief, so you can learn race techniques and practices.
The course is usually only held during the summer in the safter location of the Blue Gums rapid at the Goulburn river. Grade 11-111

Friday starts at 1pm at the boat ramp in the park. ALl paddling days start at 10am Blue Gums Campground, Eildon - meet at the boat ramp
