SNOBS CREEK

Great little run from Dry creek Hill Rd down to just above Snobs creek falls.

There is the potential to get in higher but it would require a lot of bush bashing for little gain. The river above is only quite low gradient with a couple small rapids, but below the put- in the paddle in on. The first 50 m is moving water and then the river aspect changes completely into drop -pool ( and I use the term pool loosely). The river continuously drops over 3-4m drops / waterfalls the entire way down to the snobs creek falls. The last drop is more of a 3m slide and there are small eddies on the left hand side to take out - but make sure not to miss it. The entire run is only about 1km long.

Great run when Rubicon gauge was at 0.85. This level is also too high to descend the falls ( as per Canyonning Victoria).
