KING PARROT CREEK

This great little creek flows from the Strathbogies near Flowerdale in to the goulburn river on the yea Rd. Access can be hard, and you need to committ to a longer paddle. You can get in near flowerdale or at the Upper King Parrot Rd Bridge. At this point there are some great Grade 2 rapids and surf waves, interspersed by flowing water. there are a few trees and snags that need to be portaged along the way if you are paddling all the way to the confluence of the Goulburn or the King Parrot Rest area on the Yea Rd.

Very suitable for beginners or kids, or packrafting.
